Nanuet Schools Find Elevated Lead Levels At Some Sinks

NANUET, N.Y. -- Nanuet schools do not not have any water fountains contaminated with lead, but nine sinks do have elevated levels according to a report on lohud.com.

Superintendent Mark McNeil released details about the district's ongoing effort to conduct tests at the fountains and sinks in the town's four schools. Officials are seeking the cause of the elevated levels of lead in four sinks at Nanuet High School, two at Highview Elementary and three at George W. Miller Elementary, according to the story.
